Walnut recall expanded
A wide range of bulk and packaged walnuts and mixed nuts distributed by a Toronto company to major supermarkets is being recalled over a potential health hazard.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency warned the nuts may be contaminated with E. coli.
There have been no reported cases of illnesses from the walnuts.
The latest recall involving Johnvince Foods bulk walnuts started Thursday but has since been expanded.
The nuts were imported from Andersen and Sons Shelling of Vina, Calif.
The recalled products include:
