HAPPENING NOW:
Vegetable recall
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a warning about certain Pure Flavor pre-cut vegetables; they may be contaminated with listeria.
It affects the brand’s freshly cut Grillers in premium medley, asparagus blend, rustic blend and steak topper trays.
The expiration dates range between August 11th and August 26th.
They’re produced by Leamington-based pure hothouse foods, and distributed across Ontario.
There have been no reported illnesses.
