Toyota production fully recovered
Toyota’s production has now recovered to pre-tsunami levels.
The March 11th earthquake and tsunami disrupted production at Toyota and other automakers because parts suppliers in northeastern Japan suffered extensive damage.
Toyota, which was the world’s biggest automaker in sales last year, sank to number 3 in the first half of this year, trailing General Motors and Volkswagen.
Toyota employees will be working extra shifts to make up for lost production.
