Tim Hortons CEO makes abrupt exit
There’s a big shakeup at Tim Hortons – and it has nothing to do with the menu.
After 24 years at Timmies, the company says Don Schroeder will no longer serve as president and CEO. The board of directors says it’s decided changing top ranks at this time is for the best. There was no hint of this at the last shareholders meeting, and little information is known about the move. But Marvin Ryder of the DeGroote School of Business says it may have something to do with expansion plans.

Paul House, who had previously held the position of president and CEO, will take on the role again on an interim basis.
