Tim Hortons adds car chargers
Tim Horton’s is going a little greener in Oakville.
The chain launched a pilot project, in partnership with Oakville Hydro, that lets customers plug in their electric cars at this Tim Hortons on Wyecroft Road in Oakville. The town says the project is a step towards a cleaner and greener place for residents to enjoy their cup of coffee. Tim Hortons is discussing with other cities and towns about the idea of installing charging stations at their stores, before deciding on whether to have them available across the company’s more than 3,000 restaurants in Canada.
