HAPPENING NOW:
Three-year high for loonie
As a wet mix of snow and rain falls, many are dreaming of a March break full of bathing suits, sunglasses and suntan lotion.
Considering the strength of our dollar right now, if you’re heading south this year, March break will also be a big break for your wallet.
The loonie closed Wednesday at 103.23 cents against the U.S. Greenback – its highest close since mid-November, 2007.
As Cristina Tenaglia tells us — Canadians could be soaking up the benefits for weeks to come.
