The Tesla Electric City Festival educates people on how Hamilton became known as the “Electric City”

At the Steam and Technology museum in Hamilton Steve Ruddick learned the history of Nikola Tesla and his inventions.

On September 25th the museum will be hosting the Tesla Electric City Festival, where you can get educated on how Hamilton became known as the “Electric City” after it became the first city in Canada to receive AC electricity.

The event is happening from 11am-5pm at the Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology National Historic Site located at 900 Woodward Avenue.
