Texting neck

Texting can be a pain in the neck. — literally.

Chiropractors in St. Louis say more teens are looking for relief from neck pain, shoulder stiffness and headaches.

Doctors say the cause is from constantly looking down while texting.

They’ve even coined the term “text neck.” it’s really a condition called forward head posture, and it can lead to irreversible damage if left untreated.

They say texters should try to text from a raised position, and seek treatment if symptoms get worse.
