Tentative deal for Air Canada
Air Canada and the union representing its 6,800 flight attendants have reached a tentative deal on a new contract.
The airline says the agreement must still be ratified by its board of directors, and by the attendants who are members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.
The deal follows a three-day strike by Air Canada’s customer service workers in June.
The airline is also negotiating new contracts with its pilots, mechanics and baggage handlers.
