Support group in Hamilton helps parents deal with the loss of a child

A grief support group in Hamilton is helping parents deal with the loss of a child – of any age. Emily MacKenzie started the branch of The Compassionate Friends of Hamilton and Area after she lost her daughter Jody to breast cancer.

The group meets on the second Thursday of every month for 2 hours at Emmanuel United Church 871 Upper Ottawa St. 7-9 p.m. There, you can share stories or just listen and get support from people who are going through the same thing.
