Stroke patients getting younger
It’s a surprising statistic: 20% of those who suffer a stroke are under the age of 50.
It’s a demographic that presents a unique set of circumstances for its survivors. And until recently, their road to recovery was an isolating one. Maria Hayes introduces us to one such survivor:
