Stroke Education

A novel attempt to educate children about possible symptoms of a stroke.

Researchers are using a video game, complete with hip hop music and a spaceship that shoots down blood clots. Kids, aged 9 and ten, were required to answer questions before moving on to the next level. Doctors discovered children were 33% more likely to recognize stroke symptoms in a hypothetical scenario, and call 911, after they played the game.
