St. Joseph’s gets new MRI

Another milestone has been reached in the redevelopment of St. Joseph’s West 5th campus.

An MRI was lifted by crane on Thursday and lowered into the new building through an air shaft. The addition of the new, silent, MRI, will allow the hospital to service more patients, decreasing wait time.

The device is part of a suite of diagnostic services that will be incorporated into the new campus, the site of the old psychiatric hospital.
