Every company has one: a bully who likes to diminish others to raise their own status. Sound familiar?
People are reluctant to point them out, but everybody knows who the bully is, and how they work. Recent studies show that victims of bullying are often mistaken as whiny and 40 per cent of them will eventually quit their job. Victims who are harassed as adults carry a significant amount of stress and will often seek professional help.
Joining us from our Queen’s Park bureau is Dr Oren Amitay, a registered psychologist and in-studio we have Sanddi Verrecchia, founder of Santori Consulting who released the research on workplace bullying.
