Obesity is a major concern across North America, and it’s becoming more of an issue for Canadians.

The Ontario Bariatric Network doesn’t advocate only gastric bypass surgery. Surgery is still considered a last resort.
There are other programs available to patients connected with the network.
Over the next month, family physicians will be sent information with specific criteria for potential patients.
