Sobeys workers walk out
A large Sobeys distribution centre in Milton shut down on Monday after workers went on strike.
Dozens of members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union walked off the job at midnight Sunday. They’re on strike over concessions to their benefits and working conditions. The distribution centre supplies food to all the Sobeys stores in Southern Ontario, except those in the GTA.
