It’s one of the most common autoimmune diseases, affecting more than 400,000 Canadians but it’s quite likely you’ve never heard of it. Sjogren Syndrome damages the body’s salivary, tear and mucus secreting glands, triggering symptoms many of us would ignore, until it hits the extreme.
