Sexual health for older women

Many women over 50 aren’t getting the information they need about their sexual health.

Although they’re sexually active and know about the risks of sexually transmitted diseases, a new study shows many are uncomfortable talking to their doctors and partners about them.

Researchers say most educational campaigns are aimed at younger women, but more is being done to encourage older women to take ownership of their sexual health and talk with their doctors.
