Sanitizer killed St. Kitts woman

We have new information tonight on two deaths in Ontario linked to ingesting hand sanitizer.

One of the victims was a 45-year old woman from St. Catharines. She died in June of last year after ingesting “Bodico” hand sanitizer. That brand contained methanol, a highly toxic alcohol that can cause blindness and death. Methanol was not listed as an ingredient on the bottle.
