Safe births at home

A study out of Britain finds women with low risk pregnancies may be just as safe delivering their babies at home as they would be in a hospital.

Researchers compared birth statistics between moms who delivered in hospital and moms who delivered with midwives at home or in birthing centres.

They say they found no major differences in the number of complications.

Researchers caution though that first time mothers should stick to having a hospital delivery.
