Rice cereal warning

If your baby has a sensitivity to gluten or a wheat allergy, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency says you should avoid Healthy Times brand “brown rice cereal for baby.”

The alert was originally issued a year ago, but is being re-issued because the affected product may still be on store shelves.

The cereal has been distributed across Canada.

It’s sold in six-ounce packages with best before dates of either the 1st or 30th of May 2013.

The cereal may contain wheat or gluten that’s not declared on the label.
