Reaction to hair dye almost kills Fort Erie woman

It was a routine hair dye touch up; something Joanne Pollard had done for years.

But this time she had a severe allergic reaction, one that nearly killed her. And this is not the first time we’re hearing about something like this.

In November we brought you a special report on severe allergic reactions to hair dye. We knew then that there were reported cases all over the world. But tonight Lauran Sabourin tells us about one in our own backyard: in Fort Erie.
