Rankin Cancer Run a go for Saturday

The seventh annual Rankin Cancer Run in St. Catharines is set for Saturday morning.

290 teams and nearly 10,000 runners are already registered. One of the teams, from St. Francis High School, is “Bonnie’s battle”. A team first started by Bonnie’s son Jason Barron while his mother was fighting ovarian cancer. Bonnie died four years ago, just two days before the Rankin cancer run. But Jason, his family, and his team all participated on the day of his mother’s visitation.
