With the refurbishment of the Bruce and Darlington nuclear generating stations in the news, and the recent distribution by OPG of potassium iodine pills to 200,000 homes in the vicinity of the province’s nuclear power stations at Pickering and Darlington, we were joined by Laura Boksman, chief scientist with the Radiation Safety Institute of Canada.
