Push by parents to get kids swimming safely

It’s hard to believe with snow in the forecast, but swimming season is just around the corner.

As parents think of their children splashing the summer away — with a rash of drownings last year — safety is also top of mind.
But working parents have limited times to enroll children in swimming lessons. As registration week for spring programs comes to a close, some parents are panicking and trying to secure a spot.
