Prostate cancer over-treated
A new American study suggesting many men are over-treated for prostate cancer.
More than 700 men were followed for a decade after they were diagnosed.
It appears that undergoing surgery saved no more lives than “watchful waiting” alone.
And men who had surgery were twice as likely to report incontinence and impotence.
