Prostate cancer and associated illness
A new study shows men diagnosed with prostate cancer are more likely to die from other diseases.
Harvard researchers studied the causes of death in over half a million men in the U.S. and Sweden with prostate cancer and found only 30% actually died from the disease.
They found men were more likely to die from other illnesses like heart disease.
Experts say if patients have a healthy diet, they can lower their risk for premature death.
