Project Ramadan helping those in need during holiest time of year

A Ramadan distribution took place at the Hamilton Mountain Mosque on this weekend.
Barakah Box, Muslim Welfare Centre and the Muslim Association of Hamilton joined together to create Project Ramadan.
Close to 200 volunteers filled more than 500 baskets for Saturday’s event.
The baskets held pantry items and staple foods that were delivered throughout the day to those living in the city who are underprivileged.
