Thousands of high school athletes fill the fields and gyms across the country every year, pursuing their favourite sports for love – and sometimes money.
For high school athletes eyeing a university scholarship, an injury that benches you for a season not only robs you of the chance to do something you enjoy — but it may also dash hopes of higher education.
One of the most common involves the knee, and something called the ACL. And while there is no way to guarantee against an injury, there are ways to help prevent one.
