Predicting memory loss
Your risk for stroke could also be a sign of memory problems.
The “Framingham stroke risk profile” takes into account your blood pressure, smoking and diabetes status, and other signs of heart trouble.
A high score in the profile means you’re more likely to have a stroke.
U.S. researchers looked at the stroke scores of over 20,000 people, and found those with the highest scores were also more likely to develop memory problems.
