This Sunday, National Palliative Care week begins.  It’s a topic that’s getting a lot of attention with Canada’s newly proposed law regarding medically assisted dying.  Clare Freeman is the executive director of Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton, and she suggests palliative care isn’t getting enough attention in this debate.
