HAPPENING NOW:
Ovarian Cancer pill
New research shows there’s a perk to the pill.
Some experts have now found taking the pill for ten years or more cuts the risk of ovarian cancer in half.
There’s also a similar effect from pregnancy.
The study found a healthy pregnancy lowers the risk by one-third, and it gets lower with each additional child.
Researchers aren’t sure why the pill and pregnancy seem to lower the risk, but it may be related to hormone exposure.
