Orange Shirt Day programs at the Woodland Cultural Centre educates the community about residential schools

The Woodland Cultural Centre in Brantford has been hosting Orange Shirt Day programs and workshops throughout September to educate the community about residential schools and the devastating lasting impacts the institutions have had on many Indigenous people. The centre’s executive director Janis Monture joined us this morning with more on the programs they offer, in person and virtually.
