Online effort to encourage Ontario organ donors
One click can save 8 lives.
That’s the motto of a new website aimed at simplifying the process for organ donor consent. Maria Hayes reports it was unveiled this morning in Toronto.

People are still able to register in person at any ServiceOntario centre, or you can download a form and mail it in. It’s available at the same website with the online registry: beadonor.ca. However, officials with the Trillium Gift of Life Network say it’s still important to discuss your wishes with family members. They ultimately make the organ donation decision when the time comes, regardless of the registry.
