HAPPENING NOW:
OLG considering non gaming entertainment centre

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation appeared to be moving forward with an idea to build a *non-gaming* entertainment centre in Niagara Falls. The facility would be privately funded and would have five-thousand seats.
Right now, the OLG operates two casinos in Niagara Falls, including the fallsview which has a capacity of of 15-hundred seats. The OLG is asking any interested parities to come up with possible locations including the possibility of a connection to an existing casino. The OLG says such a Niagara Falls entertainment centre could help increase business and tourism, while creating jobs and economic development. The deadline for submissions is March 3rd of next year.
