New leader at Hamilton addiction facility
A change of command for Hamilton’s Withdrawal Management Centre for Men.
The facility on Main St East has fallen under Hamilton Health Sciences’ umbrella for almost 20 years. But as of April 1st the operation will be taken over by St Joseph’s Healthcare. As for clients, the changeover will be seamless. Same number, same building, same team.
The centre provides withdrawal and rehab services as well as a day program for men with an addiction or substance dependency. There are almost 10,000 program participants each year.
