Music Friday: Alex Bird and the Jazz Mavericks perform “You Are the Light and the Way”

Alex Bird is a jazz singer/songwriter from Toronto. Working with his band The Jazz Mavericks, they created a new album that has been nominated for this year’s Junos. Their new album ‘You Are the Light and the Way’ comes out at the end of May.

Alex, along with Ewen Farncombe on piano and Jacob Gorzhaltsan on the saxaphone, performed the album title song on this week’s CHCH Music Friday.
