The tunnel-like machines use powerful magnetic fields and radio waves to obtain detailed images.

Researchers found the MRI’s strong magnet pushes on particles in the inner ear’s fluid.

When this happens the body’s sense of motion is disrupted.

Vertigo is stronger with high-strength MRI machines.
