McDonald’s hiring day
McDonald’s is going on a hiring blitz for thousands of jobs in Canada this Thursday.
Job seekers are asked to apply in person for the 6,000 crew and 100 manager positions during the one day hiring event. McDonald’s Canada says it wants to do its part to help alleviate the youth unemployment rate, which at 14.2%, is almost twice as high as the overall national unemployment rate. McDonald’s has more than 1,400 restaurants across Canada, employing more than 80,000 people.
