The Mazda 6 is Canada’s Car of the Year.

The announcement was made live this morning on Morning Live at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto. The Mazda 6 starts at about $25,000.

The other two finalists were the Mazda 3 and Corvette Stingray.

The Jeep Cherokee won for Canada’s Sport Utility Vehicle of the Year.

And although it’s called the “auto” show, the name is a little bit misleading. That’s because more Canadians are choosing trucks as their primary vehicle.
