Marijuana’s effect on the lungs

It turns out smoking marijuana isn’t as bad for your lungs as smoking tobacco.

Researchers wanted to know if pot smoking caused any long-term lung damage.

After studying a database, they found occasional marijuana use can actually improve lung air flow and capacity.

Not enough though for them to recommend it as a treatment.

They also note marijuana increases the risk for heart attack and can damage your immune system.
