Man made retina

Japanese researchers say they’ve created the world’s first artificial retina made from human embryonic stem cells.

Researchers say the man-made retina can convert light stimuli into electrical signals, and nerve cells can convey those signals to the brain.

This new research may lead to new treatments for eye diseases.
