Lowering the risk for cancer
Fruits and veggies could affect your risk for certain forms of colorectal cancer.
Researchers conducted detailed surveys with a thousand colorectal cancer patients, and people who didn’t have the disease.
They found eating foods like brussel sprouts and broccoli lowered the risk for proximal colon cancer which includes the right and top part of the colon.
Eating all fruits and vegetables lowered the risk for left-side colon cancer.
But drinking fruit juice appeared to increase the risk for rectal cancer.
