‘Reclamation’ is a new song by April Mitchell-Boudreau and her husband Doug, who is a Juno-nominated musician. The lyrics and video were inspired by residential school survivors. The song is one of four on an EP that was released this spring and serves as a lasting fundraiser for the Mohawk Village Memorial Park and is available on the Lofttan website.

April is the designer and founder of Lofttan Jewelry. She and a former residential school student, Dawn Hill, joined us to talk about the song and the Solstice Bundle.

Lofttan will give a portion of all sales on June 20th and 21st to Mohawk Village Memorial Park, but will also give a portion from the Medicine Wheel Collection and the Reclamation EP in perpetuity.
