Living with an ostomy

Colostomy… ileostomy… stoma – they’re terms familiar to a select few.

But the organizers of World Ostomy Awareness Day hope to make them a little more commonplace. Because they are key components of a life saving procedure, that could happen to anyone. Maria Hayes reports:
