Learning more about your genetic makeup may not significantly change your risk for certain diseases.

A new study out of the Harvard School of Public Health looked at how disease risks would improve for breast cancer, type two diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis once genetic risks and environmental factors were evaluated.

They found the ability to predict disease would improve by 1 to 3% at best.

But, that could get better as more studies on the genome are conducted.
