How to prep for the perfect Valentine’s date night

Looking for the perfect Valentine’s date night? Well the prep is just as important! Fashion and beauty expert Carly Ostroff has got you covered.
UGG slippers + boots
Ostroff says the first thing she liked to do when getting ready for a date is to get comfy and cozy. She recommends the classic style of slipper from UGG.
“You get that quintessential UGG shearling, a suede upper in a beautiful chestnut shade and retail for $105,” said Ostroff.
She also recommends a rain boot that is a reinvention of the TASMAN slipper. The boot comes with a removeable sock lining, an exterior that is made of rubber and retails for $100.
For the men, she recommends the UGG Scuff slipper, which is a classic style of slipper with a leather trim and a slim sole. They retail for $110.
Estee Lauder skincare
Ostroff says Estee Lauder’s advanced night repair is the brand’s number one best selling serum in the world. She says it gives you 72 hours of hydration, eight hours of antioxidant protection as well as overnight radiance.
OGX shampoo
Ostroff recommends the OGX extra-strength hydrate and revive plus argan oil of Morocco shampoo and conditioner. She says it is designed to help revive and renew dried and damaged hair. This shampoo is formulated with extra hydrating water-based soap proteins as well has a rich cold-press argan oil from Morocco which helps to make the hair look and feel cleansed and silky smooth.
Tresemme styling products
Whether you want to do something sleek or elevated or enhance a more natural hair look, Ostroff recommends Tresemme styling products. She says to take your hair game to the next level, the keratin smooth serum to help lock in shine, then to do a slick backed pony tail or lock in curl, she recommends the extra hold hairspray.
Sephora fragrance sets
Ostroff says her go-to store when shopping for fragrances. She recommends fragrance sets from Gucci, YSL and Dior.
“They’re packaged so beautifully and all the fragrances contained in these sets have different notes of florals, so I thought, what a fun and fresh way to not only give or get florals for Valentine’s Day, but to wear them as well,” said Ostroff.
