House prices continue to rise
The national average price for Canadian home resales was $372,000 in June.
That’s up 8.7% from the same month last year.
The Canadian Real Estate Association says its members sold 10.8% more homes last month than a year earlier as well.
A few other statistics show that sales activity in Toronto was stable but declined in Vancouver.
And increases were seen in several cities including Montreal, Ottawa, London and Hamilton.
