Heart starter gets Grapes’ backing

Don Cherry unveiled a new addition to the Hockey Hall of Fame Tuesday — but it’s never seen any ice time.

It is an Automated External Defibrillator.
The heart-starting device was enshrined — in a way — to mark the fifth anniversary of the day an 11-year old hockey player from Barrie died of a heart defect.
As Lisa Hepfner reports, many other people are alive today because of that 11 year old.
