Hamilton

It’s another big honour for a McMaster University scientist.

Hamilton doctor John Bienenstock — one of the world’s top immunologists — has been inducted to the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame.

He’s renowned for more than 30 years of research on how humans fight infections.

He’s also the Director of McMaster’s brain-body institute at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, and is a member of the Order of Canada.
